Job summary

GE Aerospace's On Wing Support test facility in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking a Test Technician to perform shipping & receiving, prep, de-prep, inspection, and engine testing in line with Standard Work and technical references.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to support operations, apply Aircraft Maintenance Manuals and Engine Shop Manuals, and document all work in the ERP system as part of our 5S and proactive maintenance culture.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Ability to apply mechanical reasoning in a fast-paced production environment.
FAA Powerplant Mechanic certification required.

Responsibilities

Perform engine testing, maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting per Standard Work and manuals.
Prepare, de-prep, and test aircraft engines in line with technical references.
Document work and track time using ERP software.
Collaborate with EHS, quality, engineering, planning, and materials teams.
Adhere to regulatory and company procedures including 5S and maintenance policies.
Support site-wide continuous improvement initiatives.
