Job summary

RailPros is seeking a Roadway Worker in Charge (RWIC) to perform on-site roadway worker protection near live railroad tracks. You will coordinate with dispatch, manage safety requirements, and oversee job-site activities across multiple states, including Arkansas and neighboring regions.

You will lead daily briefings, prepare necessary forms, and maintain clear radio communication with train crews while upholding RailPros values and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years in Maintenance of Way (MOW) and/or TY&E.
• On-Track Worker qualification may be required or obtained.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site roadway worker protection per rules.
• Coordinate job site with dispatcher and crews.
• Maintain radio communication with train dispatchers and engineers.
• Ensure safe limits during train movements and after permission to proceed.
• Complete required forms and reports for each assignment.
• Participate in safety training and qualifications.
• Travel as project schedules require across listed states.
