Zusammenfassung

RailPros is seeking a Roadway Worker in Charge (RWIC) to provide on-site roadway worker protection for activities on and around live railroad tracks, coordinating job sites, dispatcher and train communications, and various on-track safety duties.

The role requires extensive travel (100% on the road) across multiple states, a GED, and significant experience in track inspection or RWIC roles. You will join a people-first culture and contribute to safety-driven operations.

Qualifikationen

• GED or high school diploma required.
• 20 years of supervisory track inspection or RWIC experience required.
• Willing to travel frequently across multiple states with overnight stays.
• Must pass background checks and drug/alcohol testing.
• Ability to perform on-track safety duties and communicate with train crews.

Aufgaben

• Provide required jobsite protection per railroad rules and coordinate with dispatch.
• Conduct daily job briefings for all personnel on site.
• Prepare electronic forms for flagging assignments and reports.
• Handle signs and equipment used on track.
• Participate in safety training and maintain high safety standards.
• Maintain clear communication with RWIC supervisors and managers.
• Uphold integrity and respect; follow policies and laws.
• Additional duties as assigned.
