National Railroad Safety Services, Inc. (NRSS) seeks an Employee in Charge (EIC) to provide on-track safety services for freight railroads, transit systems, state DOTs, and partners in Cedar City, UT.

The role requires coordinating train movements, maintaining safety briefings, and enforcing policies while traveling extensively. NRSS emphasizes safety commitments and field expertise for railroad projects nationwide.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with tablets, smartphones and communication tools for coordinating train movements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to travel for extended periods; months at a time may be required.
• Valid Driver's License.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a railroad company, preferably in maintenance of way.
• Ability to complete Federal, Client and/or Company-specific training.

Responsabilités

• Provide On-Track Safety such as setup of derails, track signs and other safety tools.
• Prepare daily field reports and report any rule violations.
• Provide job-site coordination.
• Radio contact with Dispatchers and Train Crews to communicate worksite safety status.
• Conduct mandatory briefings with all crew members before entering the track.
• Enforce Railroad, State, and Federal Policies.
