Job summary

National Railroad Safety Services, Inc. (NRSS) is seeking an Employee in Charge (EIC) to provide essential on-track safety services for freight railroads and transit systems. This role involves extensive travel and requires detail-oriented individuals who are committed to safety on the railway.

Responsibilities include setting up track safety measures, preparing daily reports, and enforcing policies. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of railroad experience and strong communication

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a railroad company, preferably in maintenance of way.
• Ability to successfully complete Federal, Client, and/or Company Specific Training.

Responsibilities

• Provide On-Track Safety by setting up derails and track signs.
• Prepare daily field reports and report any rule violations.
• Conduct job briefings with crew members before entering the track.
• Enforce all Railroad, State, and Federal Policies.
