Alpha School is hiring a Youth Development Coach to support K-3 students with app-based core literacy learning on-site at a campus location. You will coach small groups, diagnose decoding gaps, and run short literacy sessions using your designed sequence.

You’ll stay with students through daily routines, maintaining high goals and data-driven progress. Ideal candidates have at least 3 years working with children 4-9, plus 2 years teaching reading in K-3 in the last five years, and

Competenze

• Minimum 3 years direct work with children ages 4-9 in teaching, coaching, tutoring, camps, or similar.
• At least 2 years teaching reading in K-3 in the last 5 years.
• Structured-literacy training or master’s in reading or literacy required.

Mansioni

• Coach K-3 students through app-based core learning and close reading gaps.
• Lead short structured-literacy sessions with small groups.
• Maintain daily routines and monitor progress toward weekly app goals.
• Stay with students through lunch, recess, and closing to ensure progress.
• Record data and provide weekly updates to parents on gaps and progress.
