Job summary

Established in 2011, Kith Women's is seeking a Temp Technical Designer for knitwear and cut & sew to join the on-site team in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The role requires 3–5 years of apparel technical design experience, a deep understanding of garment construction, and the ability to coordinate with overseas manufacturers in a fast-paced environment.

This position is 100% on-site, with a focus on accuracy, leadership during live fit sessions, and producing detailed tech packs to ensure top-quality

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in apparel technical design.
Strong understanding of garment construction and quality control conceptions.
Experience working directly with manufacturers.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Handle all technical aspects of garment production to ensure high-quality, functional products.
Document fitting comments with actionable pattern amendments.
Manage grading and tolerance rules.
Lead live fit sessions and participate in cross-functional team meetings.
Communicate with overseas suppliers to troubleshoot pattern corrections and construction issues.
Create and maintain detailed tech packs with precise specifications.
