Job summary

Alexander Daniels Global client is seeking an on-site Welding Engineer to lead development and deployment of our additive manufacturing technology across the United States. You will serve as SME for welding process development, qualification, and optimization, translating customer requirements into compliant manufacturing solutions.

The role requires deep expertise in welding engineering, metallurgy, robotics, and advanced manufacturing.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Welding Engineering or welding specialization.
• Experience in manufacturing environments with welding and robotics.
• Strong knowledge of metallurgy, welding inspection, failure analysis, and additive manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop welding parameters for DED-arc applications.
• Support production and customer operations.
• Conduct root cause analyses and interpret weld quality data.
• Collaborate with engineering, materials, software and manufacturing teams to drive improvements.
