Job summary

Alexander Daniels Global is recruiting an on-site Welding Engineer near Cleveland, OH to advance and deploy our client's additive manufacturing technology. You will serve as the SME for welding process development, qualification, and optimization, translating customer requirements into high-quality manufacturing solutions.

The role requires deep expertise in welding engineering, metallurgy, robotics, and advanced manufacturing; you will develop material-specific welding procedures using GMAW

Qualifications

• Requires BS or MS in Welding Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in manufacturing environments using welding and robotics
• Strong knowledge of metallurgy, welding inspection methods, failure analysis and additive manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Develop welding parameters for Directed Energy Deposition (DED) arc processes.
• Support production and customer operations; translate requirements into compliant solutions.
• Conduct root cause analyses and interpret weld quality and test data; drive continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering, materials, software and manufacturing teams; contribute to new product capabilities.
