Job summary

JLL is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator in Wilmington, NC to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of materials. You will support inventory accuracy, records maintenance, and compliance with safety standards within a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The role requires 2-4 years in warehouse coordination, experience with WMS, and forklift certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of warehouse or logistics coordination experience.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
• Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of materials and products.
• Monitor workflow and adjust priorities to meet operational deadlines and service level agreements.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and protection of inventory to minimize damage and loss.
• Maintain organized warehouse layout to optimize space utilization and operational efficiency.
• Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement or supply chain teams regarding reorder requirements.
• Track and report on inventory accuracy metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Assist with cycle counting programs and annual physical inventory processes.
• Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments using warehouse management systems.
• Prepare shipping documentation, labels, and reports as required.
• Process receiving documentation and verify shipment accuracy against purchase orders.
• Generate regular operational reports on warehouse activities and key performance indicators.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and report hazards or equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain clean and organized work environment in accordance with 5S or similar methodologies.
• Support incident reporting and investigation processes as required.
