Job summary

RCG Inc is seeking a VoIP Engineer with an active Secret clearance to support a DoD program in Washington, DC. This 100% onsite role requires five days per week in the office and focuses on enterprise VoIP, UC, E911, and telephony services to support mission-critical federal operations.

You will design, implement, maintain and optimize VoIP infrastructure, migrate to modern architectures like Teams telephony, manage MACs, configure gateways and E911, and generate reports while ensuring security

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance or higher required.
• US Citizenship required.
• Bachelors degree in CS/Engineering/IT or related field.
• Minimum four years supporting enterprise VoIP and VTC environments.
• DoD 8570-8140 compliant certification required.

Responsibilities

• Design install configure maintain and support enterprise VoIP and telephony infrastructure.
• Work with Federal clients on migration to modern architecture (eg Teams telephony).
• Perform operational support and sustaining engineering for analog, digital and VoIP telephone systems.
• Install, configure and maintain telephone system hardware, cabling, software and associated infrastructure.
• Support MAC activities across multiple customer locations.
• Configure and maintain VoIP phones, softphones, Wi-Fi phones, call processors, gateway systems and E911 services.
