Job summary

The TIMS VMI Coordinator at Thomas Scientific, LLC is responsible for executing all Vendor Managed Inventory activities at assigned customer locations in alignment with the VMI schedule and customer agreements. You will manage on-site inventory, maintain strong customer relationships, and coordinate replenishment through ClearSpider.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory management, supply chain, or warehouse operations.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently at customer sites with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record; travel to customer locations required.
• Ability to drive company vehicle including van and larger when needed.
• DOT physical required for travel.
• Proficiency with inventory management systems (preferred).
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform VMI visits per schedule and customer agreements.
• Manage on-site inventory, cycle counts, restocking and labeling.
• Maintain real-time inventory records in Excel, SAP and related systems.
• Generate replenishment orders and coordinate with Purchasing/Customer Service.
• Communicate order status and delivery timelines to customers.
• Identify upsell opportunities and support account growth.
