Harvard University Central Administration is seeking a skilled Journeyman Pipefitter to operate and maintain utility systems (chilled water, steam, and compressed air) and related equipment on campus in Cambridge, MA. Ideal candidates have five years of journeyman experience, a valid MA driver's license, and EPA CFC certification.

The role requires independent work and teamwork, with standard 40-hour weeks and on-site duties in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years’ experience in the trade as a journeyman; current Pipefitter’s license and EPA CFC Technician certification required.
• Completion of a trade or vocational school program required.
• Experience with chillers, boilers, piping systems, compressors, cooling towers, pumps, and water treatment controls.
• Must have a valid Massachusetts driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Operate and maintain chilled water, steam, and compressed air generation/distribution systems and related equipment.
• Work with other personnel to maintain reliable utility service and efficient performance.
• Take equipment readings critical for operations, maintenance history, and billing.
• Complete logs, prepare reports, and enter data into computers.
• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment.
