Harvard University Central Administration (CADM) seeks a Steamfitter to install, maintain and repair commercial-scale heating and district cooling systems across campus. The role requires strong pipefitting skills, plan interpretation, and adherence to safety standards in a high‑demand environment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in steam/hot water systems, MA licensure, and a valid driver’s license. The position is on site with 40 hours/week and requires flexibility for overtime.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum five years installing and maintaining large heating/cooling systems.
• Skilled in steamfitting/pipefitting for district heating/cooling systems.
• Massachusetts State License required; Journeyman/Master licenses preferred.
• Five years’ experience maintaining steam or hot water systems.
• Valid Massachusetts driver’s license with acceptable driving history.

Aufgaben

• Installs, modifies, and repairs boilers, heating cooling systems and related equipment.
• Interprets mechanical plans and updates drawings as needed.
• Provides customer support on progress/status of work.
• Performs inspections and testing per applicable codes and standards.
• Work may be independent or as part of a multi-trade team under supervision.
