Job summary

KPFF Spokane is accepting applications for a Summer 2027 Transportation Engineering Internship. You will work alongside experienced engineers on real projects, gaining hands-on experience in a downtown Spokane office and using AutoCAD and Civil 3D to support design tasks.

Interns will assist with planning through construction, learn to navigate federal, state, and local regulations, and thrive in a collaborative, inclusive team environment focused on excellence.

Qualifications

Pursuing ABET-accredited bachelor's degree in civil (preferred) or environmental engineering.
Completion of junior year by the start of the 2027 Summer Internship.
Basic knowledge of engineering fundamentals.

Responsibilities

Assist experienced engineers in solving engineering problems and achieving project goals.
Support engineers and CAD staff with design tasks such as calculations and plan production/review.
Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D to contribute to project development.
Travel to project sites to observe existing conditions.
