KPFF Seattle is actively seeking motivated Civil Engineering interns for Summer 2027 to join our downtown Seattle team. You will work closely with experienced engineers on site, assist with calculations, plan production, and learn AutoCAD/Civil 3D while contributing to real project tasks from day one.

This on-site internship offers exposure to site development, storm drainage, and utility design, with mentoring, teamwork, and opportunities to participate in reports and feasibility studies.

Formación

• Pursuing ABET-accredited bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering.
• Sophomore or junior status by start of the 2027 Summer Internship.
• Basic knowledge of junior year engineering fundamentals.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Desire for continued learning.

Responsabilidades

• Assist experienced engineers in solving complex engineering problems.
• Support engineers and CAD staff with design-related tasks such as calculations and plan production.
• Learn and use engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D) on project development.
• Travel to project sites to observe existing conditions and construction.
• Prepare exhibits for reports and presentations.
