Job summary

KPFF Special Projects Group in Seattle is seeking a motivated Civil Engineering student for a summer internship in our Seattle Office. The role is about 40 hours per week for up to 90 days, with a project focus on civil, design-build transportation, structural, industrial, and waterfront infrastructure across the US, emphasizing the West Coast.

Qualifications

• Idea of coordinating with project team and clients on multiple projects.
• Detail oriented and desire for continued learning.
• Clear communication and writing skills.
• General understanding of MicroStation, InRoads, and Openroads design.
• General understanding of AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Assist a civil engineer with project design tasks including calculations, plan production and review, and cost estimating.
• Assist with project site visits and comply with safety requirements at office and jobsite.
