Tectonic Engineering in Philadelphia, PA seeks a Transportation Construction Manager / Resident Engineer to lead highway projects in the Philadelphia and Pittsburgh regions. responsibilities include overseeing field inspections, managing schedules and costs, and ensuring contract compliance.

The ideal candidate will have PE or NICET credentials and extensive PennDOT experience, with the ability to communicate with clients and coordinate field teams effectively.

Formación

• Ten years of PennDOT inspection or related highway construction experience and PE or NICET credentials or equivalent.
• Ability to interpret written specifications, plans and construction documents.
• Strong communication with clients, supervisors and inspectors; detail oriented and organized.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for site travel.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee construction projects from conception to completion and review schedules, deliverables, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate field inspection staff and supervise on- and off-site construction activities.
• Ensure compliance with contract specifications and project safety protocols.
• Resolve issues from unforeseen conditions and manage project close-out and documentation.
