Infrastructure Consulting & Engineering, LLC (ICE) is actively seeking Construction Inspectors in Virginia to support highway construction and maintenance projects, ensuring quality and compliance with plans. The role involves field inspections, daily documentation, and coordination with project staff to manage work phases.

Candidates should have a HS diploma, experience with VDOT standards, a valid driver’s license, and be able to travel to field sites.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with VDOT projects and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret roadway, structure and bridge plans.

Responsabilités

• Inspect contractor work to ensure quality and contract compliance.
• Monitor field activities, measurements, and material tests.
• Maintain project records including diaries, notes, and estimates.
• Coordinate schedules with contractor's superintendent and agency personnel.
• Ensure safety and environmental compliance on site.
