You’ll report to the Site Manager and serve as the key link between our team and the customer, ensuring urgent response, clear communication, and effective handling of technical aspects of the job.

The role emphasizes problem solving, scheduling flexibility, and collaboration with General Motors’ facility in Hamtramck.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2–3 years in a production environment with manufacturing automation, assembly tooling, or data collection systems.
• Mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting abilities.
• Technical aptitude: able to read schematics; proficient in MS Office, networking, and database systems.
• Physical: ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Install and optimize tools for maximum performance.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Atlas Copco tools and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and calibrations.
• Communicate effectively with the customer and team.
