Job summary

Space Coast Credit Union (SCCU) is hiring a Member Service Specialist (Teller/Customer Service) for our South Dixie Branch in Miami, FL. The role focuses on delivering exceptional member service, handling deposits and loans, and guiding members through new account processing.

You will assess member needs, recommend SCCU products, and resolve issues efficiently while maintaining accuracy in all transactions. A friendly, member-first approach is essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of customer service and/or cash handling experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalency required

Responsibilities

• Assists members with deposits, loans, and new account processing.
• Assess member needs and provide tailored SCCU product recommendations.
• Periodically serves as floor manager to guide members and minimize lobby wait times.
• Performs transactions including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and sale of monetary instruments.
• Balances cash, monetary instruments, and daily work to ensure account integrity.
• Supports existing deposit and loan accounts and assists with transactions and maintenance.
• Masters the computer terminal and online system to produce error-free work.
