Space Coast Credit Union in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Member Service Specialist (Teller/Customer Service) to deliver exceptional service by assisting members with deposits, loans, and new account processing.

You will assess member needs, provide tailored SCCU product recommendations, and resolve issues efficiently, while balancing cash and transactions. This full-time, on-site role offers collaboration with a dedicated team and clear paths for advancement.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of customer service and/or cash handling experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalency.

Responsibilities

• Meets established sales and service goals.
• Consults with members about SCCU products and recommends additional offerings.
• Occasionally serves as floor manager to assess members' needs and direct them to the right information source.
• Performs deposits, withdrawals, payments, and sales of monetary instruments to provide complete member service.
• Balances cash, monetary instruments, and daily work to ensure account integrity.
• Supports existing deposit and loan accounts and assists members with transactions and maintenance.
• Masters the computer terminal and online system to produce error-free work.
