Job summary

Alfa Laval is seeking an on-site Service Operations team member in La Porte, TX to provide technical support for repair and service across the PHE, HSS, and SEP lines. You will solve complex repair challenges, troubleshoot customer equipment, and drive process improvements.

You will coordinate service jobs, interpret drawings, collaborate with engineering and workshop teams, and maintain documentation. Occasional travel within the U.S. and internationally is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience reading and interpreting technical drawings/blueprints.
• Strong customer service, communication and problem solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with standard Microsoft Office applications and business systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for repair and service activities across Alfa Laval product lines (PHE, HSS, SEP).
• Coordinate and track service jobs through the workshop and communicate status to sales and customers.
• Interpret drawings/blueprints, support parts design, and collaborate with engineering and workshops to develop repair solutions.
• Schedule and host customer inspections and equipment testing activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain repair documentation and inventory records.
