Job summary

Convergint Technologies LLC is seeking a full-time, on-site Project Manager to oversee all aspects of assigned projects from planning through close-out. You’ll direct budgeting, procurement, scheduling, and field installation while maintaining strong customer relations and ensuring safety and quality.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in engineering or project management, a related degree, and familiarity with building automation or security systems. PMI certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in engineering, field service or project management.
• Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience.
• Experience in building automation, fire alarm, electronic security or AV systems.
• PMI certification is preferred and beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from award to completion, including planning, scheduling, budgeting and procurement.
• Direct field installation, start-up and close-out activities.
• Manage customer interface and ensure satisfaction, safety and quality.
• Prepare installation plans, schedules and cost estimates; negotiate contracts.
• Track costs, change orders and invoices; assist in collections as needed.
• Collaborate with teams and communicate project status regularly.
