Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Project Manager to join a dynamic, customer-focused team. You will lead planning, scheduling, and directing of assigned projects, coordinating engineering, installation and start-up activities while ensuring on-time delivery and budget adherence.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, safety, and quality assurance across multiple projects with opportunities for growth within a global service-based organization.

Qualifications

• Expert project management experience in a technical environment (building automation systems, fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems).
• Advanced coaching, mentoring, and staff development skills; strong leadership orientation.
• Excellent Microsoft Outlook, Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills; solid programming skills and troubleshooting ability.
• Basic knowledge of IT networking principals.
• Advanced financial analytical skills including cost control.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, organize and direct projects from initiation to completion.
• Coordinate application engineering, field installation and start-up of assigned projects.
• Ensure projects are executed within budget and on schedule, maintaining positive cash flow.
• Serve as the key interface with customers to maximize satisfaction, safety and quality.
• Collaborate with team leaders; manage expectations with stakeholders and drive results.
