Job summary

First Federal Bank of Louisiana is seeking a Systems Engineer to design, install, and manage servers, storage, applications, and VoIP in our data centers located at the Main Office in Lake Charles, LA. The role is in-person, with a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule and explicitly not remote.

Responsible for monitoring, problem resolution, and documentation, you will work with IT to ensure uptime and security across our infrastructure and support disaster recovery efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/Systems or four years of experience in building and maintaining VMware, Active Directory and server systems hardware/architecture.
• Experience with storage area networks (SANs), MS SQL, MS Exchange, and MS RDS.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, and manage servers, storage, applications and VoIP phone systems in data centers.
• Analyzes and resolves problems and incidents escalated from help desk and monitoring tools.
• Provides day-to-day operational support for infrastructure and technical processes; monitors utilization and response times.
• Maintains security appliances and performs regular security updates and backups.
• Creates and updates system documentation and supports disaster recovery planning.
