Primary Office Location: 626 Washington Place, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15219.

This position supports our converged infrastructure. It requires sharp attention to detail, excellent documentation, activity coordination, and the ability to manage a high project volume with strong prioritization. The role involves creating and maintaining Cyber Recovery runbooks, validating isolated backup environments, applying code upgrades, and other maintenance tasks. Onsite reviews of solution status and timely issue resolution are required. You will work with technologies including VMWARE vREALIZE Suite, Data Domain, PowerMAX SAN, PowerStore SAN, PowerScale, CISCO UCS, and more.

Position Overview:

This role provides advanced server support for the corporation. The incumbent collaborates on defining technology network plans and strategies, participates in developing long-range infrastructure plans, and consults with Technology and lines of business partners to provide appropriate server functionality. The position has a substantial impact on operations, resources, and the corporation\'s reputation.

Responsibilities

• Understands server and network analysis, network operating systems, and logging/reporting; collaborates on technology server/network plans and long-range infrastructure.
• Consults with Technology and lines of business to provide appropriate server functionality.
• Directs resolution activities of junior staff; prioritizes technology networking projects.
• Assesses server functionality and patches, including patching methodologies and vulnerability resolution; coordinates patch schedules; provides server build sheets for review.
• Develops and executes test cases and scripts; updates project diagrams and department procedures; acts as a vendor liaison for assigned systems/platforms.
• Works day shift with potential after-hours/weekends; follows change control procedures and participates in Change Control meetings.
• Collaborates with Technology, Project Management Office, and business partners; interacts with vendors and external support personnel.
• Leads complex strategic initiatives, patching, and infrastructure projects; purchases, installs, and supports both physical and virtual servers.
• Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
