Job summary

Grand Bank for Savings, FSB is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to oversee day‑to‑day IT infrastructure, including VMware virtualization, backup, SAN storage, and perimeter security in a regulated banking environment.

You will serve as the primary technical resource, ensuring secure, compliant operations and documentation for OCC/FFIEC audit readiness, with after hours maintenance and on‑site work in Hattiesburg, MS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical IT experience.
• 5+ years administering Windows Server in production.
• 3+ years owning virtualization, backup, and network admin.
• Experience with VMware vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, and clustering.
• Experience with Veeam Backup & Replication.

Responsibilities

• Administer VMware vSphere across two data centers.
• Manage Veeam backup, replication, and restore verification.
• Administer SAN storage, LUN provisioning, and multipath.
• Manage firewall policies, VPNs, and perimeter security.
• Maintain documentation and runbooks for auditors.
• Support audits, compliance, and incident response.
