Chenega MIOS is seeking a Systems Engineer to provide on-site, 24/7/365 Tier 1 operations for Google Public Sector sovereign and classified cloud environments. You will monitor Linux and Kubernetes systems, run approved runbooks, verify connectivity, and coordinate with Customer Support Specialists and escalation teams.

The role requires strong Linux/Kubernetes expertise, TS/SCI with FSP, and willingness to work overnight, weekends, and holidays.

Formación

• Hands-on Linux systems administration, cloud operations, SRE, or Kubernetes admin skills.
• Experience with monitoring and ticketing tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ServiceNow).
• Scripting ability in Bash or Python and updating runbooks in Markdown.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze GDC Air-Gapped infrastructure and platform performance; perform root-cause analysis and implement improvements.
• Evaluate system configurations and proposed changes; develop test plans and implementation approaches.
• Perform start-of-shift health checks and execute mitigation runbooks to maintain availability.
• Investigate complex customer issues; analyze diagnostics and coordinate remediation with teams.
• Verify network connectivity between customer environments and providers; support on-site when needed.
• Maintain documentation, runbooks, and operational reporting; support COOP activities.
