Job summary

Chenega MIOS is seeking a Security Operations Manager to lead 24/7 Tier 1 security operations for Google Public Sector environments. You will coach analysts, drive incident triage, and coordinate with SecOps engineering to tune detections and runbooks.

You’ll oversee escalation processes, ensure SLAs are met, and help grow playbooks across Windows, Linux, and cloud environments. A TS/SCI with polygraph and DoD certifications are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of security operations or incident response experience with leadership of shifts.
• Active DoD 8140 CSSP Analyst-type certification or equivalent.
• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph and government compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-floor Tier 1 security operations and coach analysts.
• Ensure alert acknowlegdgement targets and timely response milestones.
• Oversee incident data collection, categorization, correlation, and escalation.
• Coordinate with Google SecOps and transfer ownership with approvals.
• Drive playbook development and SIEM tuning with engineering teams.
• Ensure 24/7 coverage and shift handoffs with proper status updates.
