Job summary

GPAC is seeking an On-Site Project Manager for structural steel fabrication and erection to oversee projects from award through closeout. The role requires coordinating detailing, shop production, and field teams, implementing schedule and cost controls, and ensuring safety and profitability on site.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of PM experience in structural steel, proficiency with Procore and Bluebeam, and strong communication and problem‑solving skills to drive project success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction PM experience, structural steel strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and standard PM tools.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage structural steel fabrication and erection projects from award through closeout.
• Own project schedule, cost control, subcontractor coordination, and client communication.
• Oversee submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, and change orders.
• Track material procurement and fabrication schedules.
• Coordinate erection sequencing, field logistics, and jobsite progress.
• Lead project meetings and maintain GC/owner relationships.
• Monitor job costs, labor productivity, and overall project performance.
• Ensure strong coordination between detailing, shop, and field operations.
