Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Stationary Steam Engineer in Mason, OH to serve as the technical backbone of critical plant operations. You will operate and maintain high-pressure boilers and essential utilities to ensure 24/7 reliability and safety.

You will monitor systems, perform preventive maintenance, read P&IDs, and respond to real-time demands. A valid state license and hands-on boiler experience are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Valid State Stationary Steam Engineer License.
• Hands-on experience operating and maintaining high-pressure steam boilers.
• Working knowledge of industrial chiller systems and plant utilities.
• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and P&IDs.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor high-pressure steam boilers, inspects and optimize efficiency.
• Operate and maintain industrial chiller systems and HVAC equipment.
• Manage plant utilities including compressed air systems, compressors and dryers.
• Monitor control systems, respond to alarms and adjust for stability.
• Execute preventive maintenance and keep accurate equipment records.
• Identify issues early and implement corrective actions to prevent downtime.
