Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field with concentration.
• 1-3+ years of staff accountant or general accounting experience.
• Healthcare industry experience is a plus but not required for candidates with strong general accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting/ERP systems.
• Analytical and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Collaborative team player with strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and general ledger activity.
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations and research discrepancies.
• Support month-end close and recurring financial reporting activities.
• Assist with fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and other accounting tasks.
• Review account activity and resolve discrepancies.
• Support accounts payable and transactional accounting processes.
• Partner with leadership on reporting, special projects, and process improvements.
• Maintain accurate supporting documentation and ensure proper recording.
