Job summary

North Adams Public Schools seeks a Speech/Language Therapy Facilitator to join the team and serve as the on-site link to a remote SLP. You will set up tele-practice equipment, escort students, manage behavior, and guide sessions to maximize therapy outcomes.

Responsibilities include coordinating with teachers, logging attendance, and documenting progress while maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or successful Para-Pro Assessment required.
• Experience with children in school, daycare, or camp setting preferred.
• Basic tech skills for laptops, webcams, and telepractice platforms.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate telepractice equipment for sessions.
• Escort students to/from rooms and manage behavior during sessions.
• Support a remote SLP by implementing goals and tracking progress.
• Maintain attendance records and document session notes.
• Coordinate with teachers to align schedules and goals.
• Troubleshoot basic connectivity and audio issues during sessions.
