Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the Speech Therapist in screening referrals from Principals, Teachers, and Special Education personnel
• Schedule students with speech and language deficits with the SLP
• Assist in evaluation and enrollment of students with speech problems; participate in evaluation meetings as required
• Maintain thorough records on all speech and language students receiving services and prepare written reports
• Assist in assessing student progress and preparing reports
• Participate in Preschool and Kindergarten Screening with Speech Therapists if necessary
• Support district goals and policies and attend staff meetings
• Provide direct instruction on student goals
• Perform related duties as directed by building principal or supervisor
