Job summary

Soliant is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a contract position in a dynamic school environment near North Adams, MA. This full-time role runs from 8:25am to 3:10pm, serving a diverse Pre-K through 12th-grade caseload.

Caseload details will be confirmed soon, with an anticipated range of 30-40 students. Deliver therapy under supervision, maintain accurate session notes, and support students in developing critical communication skills for academic and social success.

Qualifications

• Active SLPA license and school-based credentials.
• Experience with Pre-K–12 students.
• Ability to implement therapy plans from licensed SLP.
• Strong communication, organization, and recordkeeping.
• Willingness to collaborate with teachers and staff.

Job description

Step into a rewarding contract position supporting student communication needs in a dynamic educational environment near North Adams, MA. As a valued Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), you’ll work full time from 8:25am to 3:10pm, providing essential services for a diverse caseload of students ranging from Pre-K through 12th grade. Exact caseload will be confirmed soon, with an anticipated range of 30-40 students.

Key Qualifications:

• Active SLPA license and credentials appropriate for school-based practice
• Experience in, or passion for, working with children and adolescents ages Pre-K through 12
• Solid skills in implementing therapy plans designed by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
• Excellent communication, organization, and recordkeeping abilities
• Adaptability and eagerness to collaborate with teachers and staff

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy sessions as directed by supervising SLP
• Maintain accurate session notes and participate in progress monitoring
• Support students in developing critical communication skills for academic and social success
• Communicate regularly with staff, therapists, and caregivers to optimize outcomes
• Assist with the preparation of instructional materials and therapy activities
