Job summary

Genuine Parts Company is seeking an Onsite Solutions Specialist / Solution Architect / Reliability Specialist / Maintenance Specialist / Sustainability Specialist to drive revenue growth through tailored, technically robust solutions across energy, maintenance, and reliability domains.

You will develop relationships with customers, coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers, and lead proposals and contract processes while traveling up to 30-40% within the geography.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree recommended or equivalent work experience.
• Industry certifications related to reliability, sustainability, and storeroom solutions are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain internal and external relationships to grow the onsite solutions business.
• Create tailored proposals that meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Meet site visit, quote, and revenue quotas.
• Collaborate with equipment manufacturers and software providers to craft unique solutions.
• Work with suppliers to select and verify equipment and software solutions.
• Generate year-over-year revenue growth by expanding solution placements.
• Target prospective branches and customers through sales calls and presentations.
• Develop solution proposals and assist with the sales process as needed.
• Assist with contract execution.
• Provide financial information to support investments for customers.
• Provide equipment and software solution training as required.
• Conduct ROS analysis based on solution recommendations.
• Offer financial recommendations to ensure profitability within guidelines.
• Mentor lower-level employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Team Overview:

Motion’s onsite solutions team’s vision is to support every aspect of the energy, maintenance, and reliability journey by delivering value-added solutions such as storeroom solutions, reliability solutions (condition monitoring), and sustainability solutions (compressed air, steam, power quality, etc.).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain internal and external relationships to grow the onsite solutions business.
• Create tailored proposals that meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Hold accountability for meeting site visit, quote, and revenue quotas.
• Works with equipment manufacturers and software providers to provide unique solutions for specific customer requirements.
• Works with suppliers to select and verify equipment and software solutions.
• Generates year-over-year revenue growth through expanding solution placements with existing and new customers.
• Targets prospective Branches and customers though sales calls and presentations.
• Develops solution proposals and assists with sales process as needed.
• Assists with contract execution.
• Provides financial information that enables the branch and division to make sound investments in support of the customer.
• Provides equipment and software solution training as required.
• Conducts ROS analysis based on solution recommendation.
• Establishes financial recommendations for Branches to ensure profitability within Mi Financial guidelines.
• Acts as a mentor to lower level employees.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Entry to senior-level experience acceptable.
• Strong technical focus related to the role.
• Bachelor’s degree recommended or equivalent work experience.
• Industry certifications related to reliability, sustainability, and storeroom solutions are preferred.

Work Environment and Conditions:

• Remote work position.
• Travel required 30-40% within the designated geography.
• Able to work in various industrial environments (including conditions that may be cold, hot, wet, or dry) requiring standard PPE.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
