davidjoseph-co in San Francisco, CA seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with customers and build tailor-made software on top of our platform. You will own end-to-end development—from databases to frontend—with real ownership and direct customer impact.

You will deploy to sites, design complex schemas, write full-stack production code (React/TS, Python, PostgreSQL) and help showcase AI product across customer sites. Hybrid work in SF area.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of full‑stack software engineering experience with a clear backend and database lean.
• Strong SQL with depth in relational data modeling and schema design.
• Experience in enterprise or customer‑deployed software or manufacturing environments.
• Track record of shipping customer‑facing production code.
• Strong communication and ability to build rapport with customers.
• Comfortable with AI‑native development workflows.
• US citizen or green card holder required.

Responsibilities

• Deploy to customer sites to learn their operations and build custom software.
• Own complex database work: schema design, SQL optimization, and data models for real-time operations.
• Write full‑stack production code (React/TypeScript front end, Python back end, PostgreSQL) that integrates with the core product.
• Act as the technical point person for customer engineering and operations teams.
• Help deploy and showcase the AI product across customer sites.
