Job summary

General Matter, Inc. is seeking a Software Technical Program Manager in Los Angeles to drive planning and execution across the software department.

You will translate company priorities into integrated plans, coordinate work across teams, and deliver software supporting engineering and operations programs. This hands-on role requires understanding complex technical work, removing blockers, and driving accountability without adding unnecessary process.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex software programs with multiple engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and lifecycle.
• Ability to plan, define milestones, and manage dependencies.

Responsibilities

• Own the integrated software roadmap and delivery schedule across major programs.
• Identify cross-team dependencies and critical paths; resolve blockers.
• Surface schedule risks and drive mitigation with clear options and decisions.
• Coordinate software requirements and interfaces with systems, hardware, and security.
• Run quarterly planning and operating reviews; assign owners and due dates.
• Maintain YouTrack alignment with priorities, milestones, and status.
