Job summary

COMPA Industries seeks a Technical Project Manager (TPM) 2 for a Richland, WA duty station, supporting Los Alamos National Laboratory. You will oversee technical procurement scope, define deliverables, budgets, and risks, and lead the project team from initiation to turnover on a DOE/HQ regulated program.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and five years of related experience, with preference for Earned Value Management and NQA-1 experience in a highly regulated nuclear environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree and five years of directly related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience managing project, construction, and procurement scope in a highly regulated nuclear/DOE/NNSA environment.
• Familiarity with DOE O 413.3B, Capital Line Item projects, and NQA-1 requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support and manage discrete technical procurement scope from initiation through turnover, ensuring timely completion of projects and deliverables.
• Define and oversee project deliverables, budgets, schedules, and risks, and lead the project team in planning, tracking, and executing assigned scope.
• Manage technical requirements for assigned scope and maintain alignment with NNSA and DOE O 413.3B requirements.
• Manage activities within control accounts and work packages to meet programmatic objectives.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate policies, procedures, and standards related to construction and work execution within a nuclear facility.
• Support the development and monitoring of program budgets.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams, support departments, and matrixed resources.
• Perform day-to-day administrative and operational management of the assigned project or program area.
