Job summary

Oracle’s GPS Operations Team secures data centers and facilities through physical access, video monitoring, alarm management, and incident response. The Physical Security Operations Analyst serves as the on-site IC4 owner for the Shackelford, TX local SOC operating model.

The role independently leads the SOC, establishes procedures, ensures operators and contractors can execute them, and coordinates with GSOC and site partners to close monitoring and response gaps.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of relevant experience in physical security operations or SOC environments.
• Hands-on experience with access-control, video-management, alarm-monitoring, and incident-management workflows; Lenel and Milestone experience preferred.
• Ability to develop runbooks, escalation guides, and training materials for SOC operators.
• Experience diagnosing monitoring, camera, or system-integrations issues in a live environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the local SOC operating model for Shackelford, including alarm monitoring, camera verification, dispatch coordination, incident logging, shift handoffs, and escalation paths.
• Translate GSOC SOPs and site requirements into runbooks, response workflows, and training materials.
• Standardize investigation, documentation, and escalation of alarms and incidents for timeliness and traceability.
• Maintain readiness for Lenel, Milestone, and related systems, including degraded-mode procedures when connectivity is impaired.
