Job summary

StratasCorp Technologies is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to join the on-site SOC in Chesapeake, VA. You will support threat detection, incident response, security engineering, and continuous monitoring to safeguard the enterprise network.

You will develop and optimize SIEM/IDS/IPS configurations, mentor junior analysts, and collaborate with NOC and program leadership to strengthen incident investigation capabilities and overall SOC performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
• Active Secret clearance.
• 5+ years in cybersecurity engineering or related roles.
• DoD 8570/8140-aligned IAT Level II qualification (Security+ or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Support daily SOC operations, monitoring and incident response.
• Investigate threats, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop and tune SIEM rules, alerts, and dashboards.
• Mentor junior analysts and document incident investigations.
• Coordinate with NOC and other teams on incidents and improvements.
