iSenpai seeks a Senior Cyber Engineer to lead security engineering for modernizing a fully operational SOC in a 100% on-site Virginia Beach environment. The role emphasizes threat detection, incident response, and AI-enabled defenses across Splunk/Elastic pipelines.

You'll architect secure enterprise solutions, drive RMF-compatible security architecture, and coordinate with stakeholders to improve SOC capabilities while supporting government and commercial clients.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree required in Cybersecurity or related field.
• 8+ years of cybersecurity engineering, network security, and SIEM ingestion pipelines.
• Active SECRET clearance with TS/SCI eligibility.
• Experience integrating SIEM/SOAR/EDR/XDR into a SOC.
• Experience with endpoint security technologies and defensive AI/ML.

Mansioni

• Architect and optimize SOC with SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, IdAM, and hybrid security capabilities.
• Apply defensive AI/ML for detection, triage, and incident response; address false positives and model risks.
• Lead security engineering initiatives, roadmap, and modernization across multiple teams.
• Configure and maintain data ingest pipelines in Splunk/Elastic and monitor SOC performance.
• Define and implement Zero Trust and cloud security controls within enterprise environments.
