Job summary

StratasCorp in Chesapeake, VA, seeks a Security Operations Center Lead to oversee day-to-day SOC operations, incident response coordination, and continuous improvement of SOC processes. You will mentor analysts, ensure events are properly handled, and collaborate with MNOC and partners to safeguard systems and data.

The role requires a Secret clearance and a Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related experience, plus familiarity with SIEM/EDR platforms.

Qualifications

• Five years of directly related full-time experience.
• Experience with SOC operations, security monitoring, incident response.
• Experience with enterprise SIEM, EDR, or similar platforms preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Informatics, Information Systems, or related field.
• CISSP, CISM, Security+, GCIH, GCIA, CISA or similar certifications desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the Security Operations Center.
• Provide technical supervision, mentorship, and professional development for analysts and incident handlers.
• Ensure security events are investigated, documented, escalated, and remediated per procedures.
• Collaborate with MNOC leads and government stakeholders to protect systems and data.
