Job summary

CAMBA Inc. in Brooklyn, NY seeks a full-time Shift Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations of the security and housing support team. On-site role with a focus on client safety, data entry into CARES, and ensuring regulatory compliance and quality service.

You will maintain confidentiality, supervise staff, handle incidents, and coordinate programming and client care, while upholding CAMBA’s Good Neighbor Policy and partnering with funders to deliver services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or expected.
• Applicants enrolled in a program and on track to complete requirements within three months may apply.
• Four years of applicable experience preferred; computer literacy in MS Office required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional relationships with clients and ensure confidentiality.
• Input client data using DHS CARES database as needed.
• Ensure compliance with NYS DHS, NYS OTDA, NYC agencies and CAMBA policies.
• Communicate effectively with clients, peers, supervisors, and funders.
• Supervise on-site staff and ensure adequate staffing levels.
• Respond to complaints, incidents and emergencies; interview all parties and document the situation.
• Oversee programming, rounds, and client care services during shifts.
• Prepare shift reports for CAMBA management and funders.
• May conduct initial intake or market the program to the community.
