Job summary

Trillium is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality Coordinator to join our team at the Hamburg, New Jersey facility. You will develop, implement, and sustain safety programs to ensure regulatory compliance and a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in safety in a multi-location setting.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, ISO 9001/14001/45001 standards, and best practices applicable to the industry.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software/tools.

Responsibilities

• Implement SHEQ policies and regulatory compliance programs.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs for all levels.
• Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, and near misses.
• Maintain records for incidents, training, waste management, and permits.
• Monitor KPIs to evaluate SHEQ effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed safety into operations.
• Serve as secondary contact for regulators and auditors.
• Facilitate safety meetings and promote engagement.
• Manage chemical inventory and SDS documentation.
• Coordinate with site management and HR on safety initiatives and onboarding.
