Job summary

DSV USA is seeking a Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Coordinator at our Port Reading, NJ campus. The role focuses on promoting a culture of safety, ensuring regulatory compliance, conducting training, and guiding incident investigations to protect employees and assets.

You will work closely with site leadership to implement policies, track performance, and maintain records across OSHA requirements while supporting return-to-work programs and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years related safety experience.
• Experience in safety observations/inspections.
• Knowledge of OSHA and federal safety rules.
• Professional accreditation in safety or environmental field preferred.
• Experience leading cross-functional meetings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and evaluate departmental safety programs.
• Develop and deliver OSHA-compliant safety training.
• Maintain OSHA records and reports.
• Investigate accidents and near-misses.
• Coordinate training schedules and ensure compliance.
