Job summary

General Services Corporation (GSC) is seeking a Maintenance Service Supervisor to oversee on-site service operations, staff, and safety programs at multifamily properties.

You will manage work orders, inspections, vendor coordination, and budget components, while ensuring adherence to HazCom, asbestos, lead, and PPE requirements.

Candidates should have at least three years of supervisory maintenance experience, EPA 608 certification, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Three years of building maintenance supervisory experience.
• EPA 608 Certified Type II or Universal.
• CPO certification for properties with onsite pool preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must obtain medical clearance to wear a respirator.
• Proficiency of the English language.
• Must consent to work with regulated chemicals and/or substances.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise service employees and on-site service operations.
• Oversee work orders, turnover service, vehicles, equipment, paper flow, and communication.
• Ensure timely completion of inspections and reports.
• Review and make recommendations on major equipment acquisitions.
• Manage vendor cost, coordination, and quality of completed services.
• Review budgets and cash flow for related accounts.
• Ensure compliance with HazCom, SDS, and respiratory protection programs.
• Attend in-house training programs and ensure safety compliance.
