Job summary

General Services Corporation (GSC) is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician to install, repair, and service appliances and HVAC systems in multifamily housing. You will diagnose electrical issues, repair refrigeration cycles, and complete work orders using ServUS Connect while adhering to environmental and OSHA regulations.

The role requires EPA 608 certification, a valid license, and the ability to lift heavy objects.

Qualifications

• Must have at least three years of HVAC repair experience.
• EPA 608 Certification Type I, Type II or Universal required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and own transportation.
• Provide your own hand tools as listed in the job description.
• Must consent to work with regulated chemicals/materials.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair appliances and HVAC items to maintain safe, comfortable housing.
• Diagnose and repair electrical circuits in residential HVAC systems and appliances.
• Repair refrigeration cycles using system pressures and temperatures.
• Repair plumbing systems including toilets and disposals.
• Complete work orders via ServUS Connect ticket system.
• Perform basic carpentry tasks and participate in O&M and protective programs.
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and on-call duties.
