Lithia & Driveway is hiring a Service Advisor at our Houston dealership. You will serve as the liaison between customers and technicians, ensuring repairs are understood and approved, while documenting RO entries and warranty handling.

You will communicate service needs clearly and manage customer expectations around timing and costs. The role requires prior service-advisor experience, strong communication skills, and a team-oriented, professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• Previous Service Advisor/Service Writer experience.
• Polished and professional demeanor.
• Ability to communicate technical terms to a non-technical audience.
• Create a truly memorable experience for our customers.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the communicator and liaison between the customer and technician; ensuring the customer's needs are understood by the technician and the needed and recommended service/repairs are understood by the customer.
• Prepare repair orders (RO), obtaining approval signatures and entering RO into service database system.
• Communicate additional repair and service needs to the customer based on vehicle inspection.
• Administer the manufacturer warranty for qualifying vehicle repairs.
• Keep customer informed of service specials, completion times and service expenses.
